I dunno. Just... I'm tempted to start share.
Should I do it? Anyone? Please? ç_ç

I've just got the news that at yesterday's referendum to fuse Civenna to Bellagio has won the Yes. And that the new name will remain Bellagio.
There are documents that attest Civenna existed since Early Middle Age, always as stand-alone. For a time it's been together with Bellagio but then they split. Last century it was even together with few of the neighboring small towns. And now we become yet another suburb of Bellagio.
And I'm furios. No, furious is an understatement. I'm pained. And angry, to all the citizens who SOLD their town, its history, for big, fat lying promises.
Fuck you all, bastards.
R.I.P Civenna.

Yesterday Paul Walker's news, now this one. Not the best days I had.
F@#$ you, Facebook!
October 12th, 2011 09:30will you stop harrassing me once for all??? No, I don't want to see the two friends - blast them - who had invited me like two years and more ago to join FB, do you hear me?? NO NO NO!! You can't keep sending me these invites every x months and no, I don't want to click the link to cancel because you will still store my TWO - TWO - mail addresses for "make sure I won't get any other messages"!! You should ERASE my damn addresses, not keep them!!
Sincerely NEVER EVER EVER yours,
Hakka
And I'm done. *yummy*
But I admit I'm unsettled to see how many "dishes" are considered the real pizza. Pizza is thin, with the roll as crust, simple tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, a bit of oil and fresh basil (and small tomatoes too). Its tip must fall when you grab a slice, the cheese must go stringy and you must taste tomato sauce, not garlic or meat or other things. Everything else's a fake.
Scorpions - II
August 25th, 2011 05:28Four, four, scorpions in four days! I get it that this is your time of the year, the one when you're reproducing so you're in a frenzy to find sperm placed all around or what in your stupid way to scorpion-reproduce, but... really, four in four days???
I mean, usually the ratio is one every three months which, adding the fact that they're around only half a year, means two for year, make it one every two months if the year has been particularly prolific, but...
I'm starting see a pattern here! Are you tiny, little black loved/hated nightmares of mine trying to tell me something?
Ok, fine, I'm not sure the fourth was a true scorpion, but there was this black, flat black spot sitting over the door jamb right under the ceiling and, even with my enhanced second pair of glasses, I couldn't make it out if it was a damn scorpion or what (I may have tried with the binoculars but I'm too much shortsighed that the correction of the device couldn't help anymore, so niet, didn't work), but after ten minutes I checked and the black spot was gone, so...
Now... since things always come in three but there's no saying about coming in four... I do sincerely hope tomorrow I won't get a close up with another one. Groan.
On another side... that "tic tic" of him pattering alongside the wainscot will give me nightmares for a week.
Gee...
And where the hell the bastard had come in? From the fireplace's hood?
Add this too to the nightmares... =_=
Away from home...
August 11th, 2011 01:27Me and Civenna... it has been a strange love between us. Being forced to spend here every weekend and vacation because of my ill parents has allowed me to make some friends in people who were from Milan (friends I long since lost growing up) but to not mingle with my school ones. I do remember being little and spend my summer nights around carefree, I remember when this place was lively and not half-death as now. People now don't like quiet towns to spend their vacations at, they like sea, they go outside the country and get further stress travelling half a world away instead of enjoying some fresh air near home. Gee. It's just that, now that I'm here alone (

Near Bellagio (you can get there via bus), it's quiet and makes you want to walk even if you hate exercising like me. And you get this as a bonus.
Yeah, I know, I'm getting gloomy and sappy, but...
A part of me wants to get home, to my beloved old PJ and the DSL connection and my old routine, but another wants me to stay here...
Damn. I'm so, so sappy!

Why are these showing up like this you may ask? In their rush to fight spam LJ has created a new filter that're AUTOMATICALLY TURNED ON in ALL journals and communities, which screens comments that are made with 'suspicious links' ie links that are not on their safe whitelist, so pretty much the majority of the internet. There is no noted way to add to the 'whitelist'.
What really gets me is that they didn't inform people that they were doing this until a week after it was done and that it was automatically turned on.
So how do I turn it off you might ask.
That's simple. Go to your Settings, click on the Privacy tab, and half way down where it says Spam Protection uncheck the box next to "Comments containing a link to a non-whitelisted domain will be marked as spam and moved to a special section." This applies to both personal journal and communities and the opinion has to be manually changed in each one.
While I understand how this could be a good idea, I think they went about it in a very backhanded way, and have implemented it poorly. There was no message to anyone that the link has been screened. It's automatically done. This went on for over a week before they said anything about it. There is still nothing in the FAQs about it even. The only way I found out about this way going through the support pages where people were reporting similar issues.
Please share this!
ETA: This links really illustrates the problems.
LJ downtime?
April 9th, 2011 04:23![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
I’ve been wondering what’s up with all the DDoS attacks LJ has been receiving lately. Signal boosting ingridmatthews:
Just in case anyone thinks LJ's downtime is just TPTB being incompetant, read this:
LiveJournal, Russia's blogging platform of choice, is sustaining biggest cyberattack attack in its history. Bloggers say the Kremlin wants to crack down on political discussion.
"LiveJournal, Russia’s most popular blogging platform, has been under a massive DDoS attack for the past few days. The attack has effectively wiped out Russia’s main refuge for unbridled political discussion, a hugely lively and extensive domain frequented by politicians, opposition activists and social commentators alike...
“The reason for attack is more than clear in this case — someone wants LiveJournal to disappear as a platform,” Ilya Dronov, development director at SUP, wrote in a post on his LiveJournal blog earlier this week. He said the hackers were hoping to push bloggers from LJ to social networks where “it's easier to fight individual users.”"

ETA, One more link, ganked from norwich36 about the importance of LJ to russian bloggers:
LiveJournal's DDoS and Russian Politics
Trekmovie, I sincerely hate you even if the idea was born thanxs to said comments!
*throws herself against the nearest wall because banging her head is too little*
Yeah, better go and sleep while hissing like a spitting cobra.
Oh, and do me a favour LJ: when I wake up, would you mind working? Thx. Bye.
![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
And, hot damn, half a day spent to catch updates here and there! o_O Fortunately, fortunately, you K/S have been quiet these days (or, at least, have been the ones I
Anyway, expect toons of ST pure, evilish crack in the next weeks (and more, since it comes the times for Spocks to have their exams). Mostly will be posted by
![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
Well, let's just say there has even been a Latin vocabulary involved in the mix...
Yes. Latin. All my former teachers are probably bitching for the seven years of Latin I had in the past...
Oh, yes, and coming a full geek post regarding Spock, canon and fandom. Soon on this screens.
*crawls to bed*
Beta reader needed!
December 22nd, 2010 23:44![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
So, here's my request. There's a willing soul on my F-list that would like to beta one shot K/S of mine?
It's a five times + 1 fic, 4.000 words. Reboot. No sex involved (I'd say PG-13 just to be sure). Pre-slash with a bit of Kirk/Gaila.
Since my first language is Italian, I mostly need someone very skilled with English who can offer suggestions and perhaps changes to words more suited than the ones I chose. I am open to changes too, so don't be shy: I don't bite. ;)
Anybody? *offers Spock's cookies*
Star Trek is love!
December 18th, 2010 02:15You can make happen almost everything to our guys, and you'll won't be even near the canon.
Hell, you don't even have to fear of exagerating: in every other fandom two abductions would be much, with Kirk ad Spock (well, Kirk) it's too little!
Star Trek, I love you! ♥
![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
Short, I said, right?
Yeah... 200 pages...
Hopefully we will be able to post it before the end of January, but my
Now that I really ponder about this, I feel overly depressed: now it's time for the main fic and... my Word 97 is already trying to suicide.
I'm fucking tired of starting something that should be short and then spending 35 pages for something that should have been covered in a little chapter!! *hissing*
That's why I have folders of unfinished things!
I really want to bang my head against the first wall and see if the first to break is my head or the wall!
Ok, sleep deprivation make wonders to my lovable persona.
... or maybe this is the first sign of an upcoming Plak Tow? Bah...
It is for posterity to judge...
Grrrrrrrr!!
July 25th, 2010 04:20I know, the cell is very old (a Sharp GX20, bought in 2004), so it was time to change it (
![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
My main concern is about the content I still have on it.
1) I have the bad habit to keep all the contacts on the cell's memory, so I don't know if I'll be able to recover them - since there is not "transfer to SIM" function but only the opposite.
2) Fortunately the last bit of energy of the battery has been used to write down the few sms/notes I still had there (fortunately I copied the big bunch of the last week a couple of days ago), but there are a few photos I took to my
Even mum says to not worry because there's no problem and we'll buy soon another, but... damn, why now??? I was not prepared! Plus, this week I already spent too much money, and I would have prefered to not have the semi-urgent need to buy a new cell.
Fortunately my mum never uses her, so I've stolen it. XD Maybe I could temporary use an old of mine to send sms only, if the battery is still working. Bah...
On positive news, Wednesday I took home the latest member of the family, my Personal Ninja aka a wonderful Sony Vaio series E. I'm waiting to buy the tablet (Wacom Bamboo) so I'll be able to start draw on PC: can't wait to order it!
Let's hope I'll be able to make it and the PJ to talk to each other despite the age difference (I mean, Windows 2000 and USB 1.0 Vs. Windows 7 and USB 2.0) or transfering data will be a pain in the neck...
I know, these are little problems, considering what life gives us but... pissed!
Oh well...
![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
The style kinda sucks but I wanted to put it online immediately, since it's almost Christmas Eve! :D
Oh oh oh... *runs off to sing Santa Jacks's songs*
