Notes 2: I meant this one to be set after Beyond events, but I'd have to change the uniforms in the avatars so... no, thank you.
Anyway, Gaila has become part of the Enterprise crew in 2262.335, according to the comic books, but let's forget this detail, shall we?
Notes 3: One of the name given to her in the past by official-not-canon material was Marjorie Wimpole. I kept it as second name.
I come from a country (Italy) where the wife doesn't and can't take the husband's surname (I woman I knew signed her checks with her husband's name, but that's it. Legally, you have the surname with which you were registered at birth). This to say that a part of me cannot accept the whole "Winona Kirk" thing, because she should just be Winona Davis (apparently that's her surname) or, if ever, Winona Davis Kirk.
With the kind of past she has, I would never see her keeping the "Kirk" surname, especially because she would never want to draw attention on herself and her tragedy.
Notes 4: I decided to turn the manip into a part of the Twitter series because, as stand alone, it sucked. It's not bad, but I just wasn't satisfied by the final result with the Iowan background: the finished piece just looks... fake?
Notes 5: Edit modified in July 2020. Replaced a Tumblr fancasting (Gina Torress) with Discovery/Strange New Worlds's Number One, Rebecca Romijn. To me the two shows above are closer to the Reboot than the TOS: Majel Barrett's Number One will always be the only TOS Number One, Rebecca is and will be my AOS Number One.
Tec stuffs (aka Behind The Manip): Background coming from a (dropped) wip manip of mine, in which Jim Kirk was posing with the Kirk farm in the background. Composed by the construction and other three pics merged together.
Funny, though, that - months later - I've seen the same farm used as the Kirk farm in an "official" comic book (a memory of Spock Prime going to visit Jim's grave in Riverside. The prequel to ST XI perhaps?). XD

Notes: Got this out of my system, so I can get back to my Rule 63 project before I loose interest and it becomes a lost project, like half of my manip folder. ._. If my health allows me. And the next weeks are gonna be living Hell for me.
Posting because if I don't do it now, it'll sit on my HD for months until I deem it "ready".
Notes #2: Finally Bones makes his appearance in my manips. I'm pretty much ashamed but yes, this is the first thing I did that features poor Bones if you don't count the mirrorized version I did back in October.
Tec stuffs (aka Behind The Manip): It's funny to do these kind of things. Frustrating, because there aren't HQ pics of the Enterprise bridge, so I'm left with medium to low quality or screencap to reconstruct, but yeah.
The quality of the pic shared by Karl Urban isn't the best: I did what I could. At least, with this kind of low quality, you don't see that the bridge pic I used as background isn't HQ either.
