About the starship: I decided the name of this ship to play with the fact it comes from the Captain America's corner of the MCU and also with the organization that will then become the S.H.I.E.L.D..
The registry number, self-explaining, is the date when Steve's transformation into Captain American happened, which is also the time setting of the movie this crew comes from. NX because it's an experimental ship, and in Star Trek canon experimental ships usually get the NX prefix.
About the motto: It's likely the most famous quote from the MCU's Captain America sub-franchise, and I thought it fitting. I know that technically doesn't belong to the first movie, as it comes from Winter Soldier, but...
Behind the seal: The seal is meant to resemble Cap's most iconic (and modern) shield, but also incorporates, placed on the SSR's eagle, its first version, the wood(?) one Steve is seen using in the movie when he performs for the army. The design of the eagle with the shield on its chest comes from the latest SSR emblem, as seen in Captain America: The Winter Soldier on a file that passes all SSR's federal functions and responsibilities into S.H.I.E.L.D..
Tec stuffs (aka Behind The Manip): I reworked from scratch the metal version but still I'm not 100% satisfied. I do like it, but the fact I managed to make the Merlin one in the mean time (and that one has become the standard to which I'll compare every other seal) doesn't help.
