Series: Winter Holidays (3/6 + bonus pic)
Notes: Long story. To summarize: I was meant to do just a manip (TOS Jim, with another pic), but ended up doing fucking eight. This, in particular, is companion to Reboot Jim from the same photoshoot and it was never planned. Reboot Jim came first, just for you know: I was able to do this because, only later, I found the rest of the photo shoot.
Notes 2: Forgive me Father (Roddenberry), for I have sinned: I gave TOS!Kirk asixfour pack. I beg your forgiveness, fandom. ._.
Notes 3: In December 2022 as the series has been resumed to add the new versions of Kirk and Spock, I took the chance to slightly edit this piece by adding a well-placed shadow to make the picture less explicit; also added a new signature with the date included, as to reflect my most recent style.
Tec stuffs (aka Behind The Manip): I hate TOS Jim, I hate William Shatner, I hate whoever did the promotional photos for the show and I hate everyone else involved in the photography. I now understand why TOS manippers make use of plenty of filters in their works.
I'm definitely not satisfied but I know I'll never be able to do a TOS manip that will be decent, so I just surrender.
The original pic, unlike most of the photoshoot, didn’t have this high contrast between lights and shadows. The bed on which the model is laying was visible and, since I wanted the manip to be paired with the reboot one, I tried my best to make it look more similar to that one.
