About the manip: This manip is part of the Reboot Mirrorverse me and aleniakalain are slowly writing (something like almost 400 pages already written... and we're still in the boys' teen years. -.-). In this universe Jim - alongside his long-time friend Gaila - worked for some time as go-go boy at the infamous nightclub Babylon at San Francisco, where many races met and mix to have fun and get partners for the night. Spock meets him here for the first time, and one of Spock's friends will name Jim "the Babylon's le-matya". ;)
Tec stuffs (aka Behind The Manip): I spent an awful amount of hours on this and the file was sitting on my PC since... well, let's say I worked on this some weeks ago (in a marathon of like 10 hours *wristle*); I have decided to share it before I could drop it in the bin - as I always do because I'm never satisfied so... let me know what you think! ^^

I admit that it looks less ugly in black & white, but the original image was a little bit "spixelated" and even the magic tool (aka The Smudge) couldn't help. :(

The fic. Weeell... aleniakalain and me are currently writing the latest part of the book I while the fic is made of three books. The first book is (chapters already planned) 200 chapters. ^^" I fear we'll never be able to finish it since it's been two years for this book and who knows if we'll still have dedication and love for this fandom - plus time - necessary to give to this fic for the next four years? ^^"
Also, I highly doubt we'll decide to post it before having it ever finished, since it's written like a poem (hence the books, see Dante's Inferno or Iliads) and posting the first book would have no sense without the other two. :(
However, I have some shots related to this universe and I hope to finish some to at least post them. Also, there is a crossover finished (it had been our "test" to see if we could work together on the "monster" aforementioned) but we need to fix its English and fluidity (the last chapters are written far better than the first). ;)
Ah, sorry for the poem as reply, but I do love when people show interest for something I'm putting so much time and dedication in!

About the tattoo. This one (mirrorJim's) is a snake that "envelops" twice the leg, with the head on a gluteus. For Jim STXI I always imagined this dragon which head "lays" on the kidneys, a paw on a gluteus and only enveloping the leg once. Damn, I suck at descriptions today.
MirrorJim has no control over his own wish to tattoo himself and he overdoes; at last STXI knows better!

maybe you can do a short version of the 3 books for a big bang? like a story summary?? in 15K, 5K per book *puppy eyes* it would serve you as map *Kirk´s eyes*

and i love the tattoo of xii now that i understand it!

There's no way to do a "summary" version. Every chapter is there for a reason, though the reader will understand it only after a re-reading. ^^" For the moment we have something like 700+ pages, so you may see how it would be impossible. :P Besides that, we already have our hands full with the main story, we cannot afford to put that aside for anything else. :)

That's an interesting thing to ponder about... I don't know, perhaps he will go all Spockish and order people to stop gossiping about the Captain, followed by a Eyebrow of Doom. Who knows... :-?
